In a school, the works have to fit into the school calendar and must never put pupils at risk. We schedule the work for the holidays, weekends or outside lesson times and, when it has to go on alongside school activity, we separate and signpost the work area.
What we do in schools and education centres
- Refurbishment of classrooms, corridors and shared spaces.
- Playground and entrance flooring, hard-wearing and anti-slip.
- Seamless shock-absorbing surfaces for play areas, in a choice of colours.
- Roof waterproofing and leak repairs.
- Facade refurbishment and damp treatment.

Safety and scheduling
Before we start, we agree with the school management which areas will be closed and when, how materials will be brought in and how the works will be kept apart from the routes used by pupils and teachers. At the end of each phase we clean and inspect the area before handing it back for use.
From Viladecavalls (Barcelona) we work across Spain and on international projects.

Frequently asked questions about building works in schools
When do you carry out building works in a school?
We schedule the most disruptive work for the school holidays, weekends or outside lesson times. If the works have to go on alongside school activity, we separate and signpost the work area so that pupils and teachers don’t pass through it.
What surface is best for a playground or play area?
Play areas use seamless shock-absorbing surfaces, which reduce the impact of falls and can be made in different colours. Playgrounds and entrances need hard-wearing, anti-slip flooring that stands up to daily use and is easy to clean.
Do you also work on the school's facades and roofs?
Yes. As well as classrooms, playgrounds and flooring, we repair facades, waterproof roofs and solve damp problems in school buildings.
